Known issues

Messages
- Old messages: when you link WA Classic, WhatsApp only sends part of your history, usually the recent messages. Older ones can't be loaded later.
- Replies and reactions sent before you linked WA Classic don't show up.
- Edited and deleted messages: if someone edits a message or deletes it for everyone, WA Classic keeps showing the first version.
- Some kinds of messages can't be shown, like polls and view once photos. See Differences to WhatsApp.
- Emoji on iOS 4: newer emoji show as a box or a gray symbol.
- Stickers don't work. Stickers sent to you show up as a white picture, and you can't send any.
Notifications
- After installing or updating WA Classic, and after every restart with a tethered jailbreak, open the app once. Otherwise notifications don't arrive.
- While the computer with the bridge sleeps, nothing arrives.
Calls
- Video calls are in development. See Video calls.
- If several old iPhones use one bridge, all of them ring.
- The speaker can have its own volume, set to zero. Press volume up during the call.
The connection
- Internet connections without a public IP (carrier-grade NAT) can only use WA Classic at home.
- Your phone has to come online about every two weeks, or WhatsApp unlinks WA Classic.
Devices
- The iPod touch isn't tested on a real device yet. See Devices.
- iOS 7 to 10 aren't supported yet.
